Your job

• As a junior specialist in our lending team, you are supporting in building and maintaining a strong, sustainable long-term credit relationships across all credit products with a special focus on medium sized, family-owned corporate clients in Germany
• You support to screen opportunities, identify pursuable credits and participate in client meetings
• You are involved in the preparation of credit applications and the presentation to relevant internal credit committees, identifying and mitigating potential credit risks, undertake ongoing credit portfolio management
• You are working in close collaboration with Client Coverage and amongst others Loan Markets Origination, Syndication and Risk Management in Germany and the Netherlands

Your profile

• Academic level with excellent results
• 2-4 years of work experience with a background in corporate banking, corporate finance or credit risk management
• Basic expertise in the analysis of corporate financials and business models as well as German GAAP and IFRS accounting principles
• Knowledge of German credit documentation is a plus.
• You are a team player, act mindful and collaborative within and across teams and communicate effectively
• You have a solution driven approach, you understand problems and opportunities and design solutions
• You are entrepreneurial with a high degree of self-motivation and ability to deliver high quality results on time
• Fluent English and German, written and spoken
