Wat je gaat doen
As a (business) data modeler within our Life & Pension company, you are responsible for designing, building, and maintaining complex data models and actively contributing to the further development of our data infrastructure. You work closely with various departments and ensure that our data is managed in a structured and efficient manner.
With your own initiative and ambition, you achieve excellent results, such as:
- Development and monitoring of (functional) data models and lineage
- Identifying opportunities for improving data management
- Co-developing and maintaining data architecture principles
- Communicating complex technical issues to stakeholders in a simple oral and/or written manner

What you will bring
You are passionate about data and the business value it can bring. You get excited when you have to make our data speak the language of the business. You enjoy communicating with other professionals to truly understand the meaning and value of our data. You have a proven ability to work cross-functionally to achieve goals and objectives, and you have an analytical mind and enjoy delving into data. Additionally, you have:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in a relevant field (i.e. Information Science, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics)
- Good communication and presentation skills and you are organizationally sensitive
- A creative problem-solving and customer-oriented attitude
- Experience as a modeler on complex programs and projects with a heavy IT component
- You can explain the difference and relationship between a data dictionary and a conceptual or logical data model
- You have experience comparing and mapping data models
- Extensive knowledge of: Powerdesigner or similar data modeling tools
Met wie je werkt
As part of the IT Services organization, our goal is to collect and deliver high-quality data to our customers in the various domains within Life & Pension. The department consists of multiple DevOps and MLOps teams that are responsible for managing the current formal reporting processes, as well as teams working on a new data foundation for NN L&P.
