We are looking a talented Cloud DevOps Engineer with broad experience to support teams in their Cloud journey and help design and create Cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate should have solid engineering knowledge, be well-versed in the operational aspects of large-scale systems, and understand the value of full automation. The role involves architecture, design, automation, security, development, and support, and requires a hands-on approach in a fast-paced atmosphere.
The candidate should have experience in implementing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions or Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions, and a good understanding of securing the environment with SSL/TLS, certificates, and firewalls. Networking knowledge including TCP/IP and subnetting is essential, as is experience in implementing security guidelines and solutions for cloud. The candidate should also be familiar with Azure Defender for Cloud dashboard, ServiceNow, Splunk, and agile practices such as Scrum, DevOps, and Kanban.
Responsibilities include engineering Cloud and CI/CD solutions together with DevOps teams, and supporting their adoption of Cloud and IT4IT. The candidate will eventually be responsible for following new trends, evaluating new products/components and tools, and advising, designing, and developing new cloud (native) solutions. The teams the candidate will support develop applications with OutSystems. If the candidate has no OutSystems experience, they will have the opportunity to learn and work as an OutSystems developer in one of the development teams. The candidate should have a high standard of excellence, a strong customer focus, and be capable of technical deep-dives into cloud platforms and components, code, database, load balancer, network, operating systems, and storage.

Wat je meebrengt
- You have at least 4 years of experience managing Windows (Virtual) Machines, Systems Administration and Engineering with emphasis on Windows Server
- You have at least 4 years of experience on cloud platforms, specifically Azure and/or AWS
- You have experience managing Internet Information Server, which is the web server used by OutSystems
- You should have advanced knowledge of SQL queries and experience with SQL Database maintenance
- You should possess strong coding/scripting skills in ARM templates/Terraforms, ideally YAML and PowerShell, and experience with CI/CD tooling such as Azure DevOps building pipelines using YAML (Infra Structure As Code). Knowledge of Kubernetes and Linux Containers is also required. A BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and one or more cloud certifications, preferably Azure administrator (AZ-104) certified, is required

Working in IT requires continuous learning, even more so within Cloud. You are used to keeping up with the latest developments, not only by continuous learning but also by being aware of the developments in the market. You have experience of translating customer needs into technical solutions.
