You will be part of the Regie, Change, and Data team (RCD) within NN Group Disability. Here, you will think about efficiency improvements in the operational processes of Income Services. Connection with the business, substantive expertise, responsibility, result-orientedness, and fun are important for the RCD team. It is a team of passionate colleagues.

With your solution-oriented and proactive attitude, you translate business problems into data science solutions. With your knowledge of Python, statistics, machine learning, and especially Generative AI, you can convert any data source into insights for our internal clients.

In concrete terms, you bring AI solutions into production so that your solutions really create value for our company of tomorrow. Researching and applying new technology plays an important role. You use state-of-the-art techniques such as AI-as-a-service and LLMs, such as Azure Cognitive Services and OpenAI. You understand how to help colleagues from the business translate their needs into AI solutions, and above all, enjoy presenting your solutions to internal clients and helping them adopt AI.

What you will bring

You are results-oriented and enjoy delivering code projects for the business, but above all, you see value in the further adoption of our AI solutions. Your open-mindedness and strong communication skills greatly help in this regard. Additionally, you have:

A completed university degree with a master's in Computer Science, Econometrics, Mathematics, or another STEM-related field
Experience in developing ML applications in Python, preferably also with Generative AI such as LLMs
Practical knowledge of the data science process, such as data collection, cleansing, model evaluation, and model implementation, preferably experience in developing (Flask) APIs
A plus if you have experience in developing automated cloud solutions using (Azure) CI/CD tools, Git, and Terraform
A plus if you have experience in designing AI solutions or applications based on business requirements
Good knowledge of the Dutch language in both speaking and writing

Met wie je werkt

The team you will work with on a daily basis consists of three data scientists,, two full-stack developers who help us put our work into production, and a business translator who arranges the most exciting assignments and helps with the adoption of AI.

In addition, you are a member of the data science guild, where about 40 data scientists from across the organization meet each other. Here, you exchange knowledge and experiences with peers. We believe that every data scientist can learn something from peers and vice versa. This way, you accelerate your career and deliver maximum value with our AI solutions.
