Your role:

The HR Operations Specialist is key in providing a great employee experience by making sure the basics are in place and executed to perfection. The work conducted by this role is instrumental in giving employees the confidence that they are taken care of and that they are considered important to the organisation, simply because the responsibilities are taken care of. You will provide the opportunity for the employees and Career Coaches (line managers) to focus on their contribution to the business.

The HR Operations team is further professionalising to support the growth of Zanders. So there will be a focus on creating efficiencies by streamlining and improving our HR processes. As we are a growing company, we expect that you can develop into an HR Business Partner within 1-2 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Taking charge of all essential administrative tasks, including contract management (including letters confirming contractual changes).
  • Reporting new employees and employee changes to relevant external parties and institutions.
  • Managing and overseeing benefits administration.
  • Ensuring full compliance with work permits and/or visas, taking ownership of the process.
  • Skilfully executing a flawless monthly payroll for the Netherlands.   
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for any questions from employees in the Netherlands.
  • Collaborating in maintaining the NL Secondary Employment Benefit Handbook, keeping it current by promptly informing the HR Operations Manager of any pertinent changes or information.
  • Detailing processes and incorporating relevant information into the Zanders HR Processes document.
  • Sharing the responsibility to promptly and accurately respond to inquiries received via the HR mailbox.

Skills to be successful:

  • You have a minimum of MBO 4 or HBO/Bachelor or comparable education levels.
  • Around 2 years of experience in HR field.
  • Able to work very accurate in a dynamic working environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and good communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong process-based and analytical skills.
  • English and Dutch (preferably fluent Dutch but alternatively advanced level understanding and reading).
