
HR Strategy Portfolio Manager

What are you going to do?
As HR Strategy Portfolio Manager, you step in on the strategic HR themes that are important to NN. You determine the route to realisation and support the approach with data and facts. As a proactive sparring partner for management, you provide (un)requested advice on strategic themes.
In this role as HR Strategy Portfolio Manager, you are responsible for:
- Translating the Group HR strategy into key change projects and measurable objectives
- Managing a portfolio of (change) programmes and projects which are translated into a multiyear strategy roadmap
- Leading one or more strategic HR programmes/projects and its associated (change/implementation) approach and goals
- Monitoring market developments to understand industry best practices and trends in HR, identifying opportunities and advising on strategic themes
- Overseeing the quality and timely delivery of projects, identifying interdependencies and acting as a linking pin between project managers and other stakeholders
- Developing quarterly management updates with the goal to inform the Group HR MT about the progress and to steer the portfolio in the right direction
- Activating HR strategy by informing and aligning closely with relevant stakeholders (e.g. communications specialists, HR management teams, expert teams, and the HRBP community)
In this role, you will be part of the management team of the HR Centre of Expertise.

What you will bring
You operate in a customer centric manner, are highly interested in external market developments in the area of HR, and you are keen to learn and to support the innovation of the HR service delivery within NN.
- Requires a Master's degree
- Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in program/portfolio management in a comparable complex and international organization
- Strong business acumen and understanding of technology, data and analytics
- Strong project and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work with diverse groups of people
- Experience leading change programs, preferably related to HR strategy
- Fluent in English (and preferably Dutch)

The HR Strategy & Communications team is part of the HR Centre of Expertise (CoE), and consists of specialists on change, transformation, communication and employee experience. The team is responsible for monitoring the progress we make on our HR strategy and KPIs, setting and maintaining the multiyear (run and change) calendar, and ensuring we take a clear, collaborative, and integrated approach when the different initiatives are implemented.
Next to that, the team helps to develop change strategies on existing, new or changing HR products and services, including the potential IT related impact. This team is also responsible for the coordination of the engagement survey, and for clearly communicating with one voice (consistent quality, consistent messaging, improved accessibility of HR information, and simplified processes).
The team works together closely with the other teams within the HR Centre of Expertise (Human Capital Development, Career Centre (recruitment & resources management), Reward, and Legal & Labour relations), the broader HR Community (both NL and International), and with a wide variety of other stakeholders within NN – such as Strategy, Corporate Relations, Investor Relations, CIO, and the various business units.
