Your job

As Innovation Manager Digital Assets you will:

Follow the market initiatives and help create the strategy for ABN AMRO in the Digital Assets market
Follow our corporate innovation process in developing new products and services and guide them through the innovation funnel
Build the business cases of new value propositions
Work together with our internal stakeholders (Global Markets, Debt Capital Markets, Treasury, Operations, Legal) to help issuing new deals on these new value propositions

Working environment

You will be part of the Digital Assets team in the Strategy & Innovation Department of ABN AMRO. Our innovation center is located at the Gustav Mahlerlaan in Amsterdam.

At the Strategy & Innovation department (S&I) we play a key role in defining and executing ABN AMRO’s (corporate) strategy and related innovation agenda. S&I consists of the functional units Strategy (GSO) and Corporate Development, and three innovation-related units: Innovation Process & Design, Innovation Technology and Innovation Lab. Our Innovation Lab is responsible for developing innovative value propositions in close cooperation with the Client Units. It consists of five teams. Next to “your” Digital Assets team, the other Lab teams are the Platforms team, the Beyond Banking & Partnerships team, the Embedded Finance team, and the FinTech team.

The FinTech team is not developing new value propositions themselves, but are responsible for connecting ABN AMRO with the international FinTech and start-up community. The FinTech team is also running our partnerships with Motive and Techstars.

Your profile

We are in search of an innovation professional who is passionate about the pivotal role that blockchain technology will play for society and grasps the transformational power it could have for the banking industry. As a strong stakeholder manager, you are both sensitive to corporate dynamics and understand the start-up and "unstoppable founder" way of doing things

What we require:

Bachelor's or Master's degree with 0-5 years of work experience
A good understanding of blockchain technology, tokenized assets and crypto assets
Ability to define business strategies and their related financial business cases
Ability to achieve results and have a can-do mentality
Entrepreneurial mindset
An inspiring teammate
Fluent in English
A strong stakeholder manager

The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
