ABN AMRO Clearing Bank (AACB) is a distinct mono-line company within ABN AMRO, and holds its own banking license (ABN AMRO Clearing NV). The company consists of around 800 FTEs globally, and is self-sufficient, with its own supporting organization. Clearing is the cornerstone of global financial markets. Working environment

You are going to work in the Client Reporting team. This team is responsible for applications catering for the report- generation, distribution and archiving to our clients. As the IT-engineer you will participate in the scrum events of the teams and will work on the development user stories/activities agreed upon on in the sprints.

In your daily work you will interact with different colleagues such as:

the Product Owner, Scrum Master, IT Dev Engineers and Business Developers working in the Client Reporting scrum team;
DBA, Middleware, Platform and Networking specialists.
other people working in the AAC GRID such as other IT Dev. Engineers, Solution Engineers and the IT Engineering Lead.

We are looking for a team member who can support us in the maintenance and modernization of our application. Your job consists of

maintenance of our application running on Openshift / Springboot
keep our application stable and performing (Performance is key)
enhance monitoring and alerting via Splunk
enhance our application with new functionality
migrate packages from on-prem to AWS
participate in the continuous improvements and implementation of best practices.

As application specialist you will be on stand-by which shared within the team and scheduled in advance.

Your profile

5+ years of working experience as an IT Development Engineer, of which 3+ years as a Java skilled IT Development Engineer
DevOPS experience
With preferable AWS experience
Preferable with 2+ years experience in a banking environment

Experience with the following:

Springboot
Openshift/Kubernetes
SQL
Kafka
Splunk
