We are searching for individuals who possess a "go-getter" mentality and are comfortable working in (Agile) teams. Our engineers possess strong system design and coding skills, coupled with a solid understanding of business and a continuous improvement focus.

Working environment

ABN AMRO Strategy and innovation Tech Enablement team (GUIDE) is responsible to secure, manage and keep up to date a bleeding edge an application incubator engine that explores the applicability of the latest technologies such Open AI and Serverless containers for all the initiatives in our portfolio.

Your profile

Essential Skills

Technical

Proven knowledge and experience with Azure cloud running containerized workloads in production in corporate environments (3 – 5 years)
Solid IAM and networking concepts
Infrastructure as Code: Proficient writing Bicep and Terraform
Proven knowledge automating Dev, Sec and Ops using CI/CD solutions (preference Azure
DevOps).
Passion to automate repeated tasks using scripting languages and/or Infrastructure as Code

Soft skills

Able to create and maintain good relationships with developers and help them to reduce friction and avoid frustration using his/her automations skills.
Act as an advisor on new initiatives intakes
Support members of the team in their career progression and personal development

Security

Understand the importance of security in the public cloud and in containerized workloads.

Nice to Have

Automated Infrastructure Testing
Relevant industry certifications (e.g. Azure, Kubernetes)
Curious about new trends in Cloud and Dev*Ops. (Keeps up to date by reading relevant blogs/articles, regularly attending meetups and conferences). Knows where the industry is going.
