Your job
PERDARR (BCBS 239) is a regulation from the Basel Committee that presents a set of principles aiming at strengthening banks’ governance frameworks, risk data aggregation capabilities and internal risk reporting practices. Within ABN AMRO, being PERDARR compliant is also very much aligned with its strategic ambitions in becoming data-driven.
Our team’s purpose is to support our organization’s risk management decision-making with high-quality risk reports. With this purpose in mind, your primary responsibility will be conducting assessments on organization’s (risk) data aggregation capabilities & practices by taking BCBS239 principles as the benchmark.
You will be adding value to the organisation by identifying improvements for the Bank’s decision making and risk governance practices on various organizational levels: Bank-wide strategic themes, risk types (i.e. Credit risk, Market risk...), international entities & subsidiaries. You will also be responsible with communicating the results of your assessments with various internal & external stakeholders such as the senior management and our regulators.
The data evolution in the Bank is fast-paced. To keep abreast of the latest developments, we also stay in close contact with the key stakeholders who have different roles & responsibilities to support Bank’s data ambitions. You will also have the responsibility to maintain relationships with these stakeholders.

You will be part of the international, diverse, independent and self-organizing team named the PERDARR Independent Validation Unit (PERDARR IVU) where you will get the opportunity to strengthen your talents and bring the best of yourself. Your profile
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced with Internal audit , risk management and/or data management
- Excellent in report writing
- Curious, pro-active, team-player
- Able to work independently
- Organizationally sensitive
- Critical & Analytical
- Able to interact with and challenge key stakeholders including senior management

- The monthly salary diplayed above is based on a 36-hour workweek, including vacation pay and a benefit budget. 40 hours per week is also possible.

- 5 weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
- A Personal Development Budget of €1,000 per year. You can accumulate this amount up to €3,000.
