
Talent Manager
As a Talent Manager at NN you actively drive organisational-wide efforts of talent management practices and processes with a focus on career management, succession planning and development of our senior leaders and talents. You have a natural talent to see the true drivers and needs of people and are a trusted partner for both talents and leaders. Changes in talent capabilities for the future is something you notice seamlessly, which you translate into the long-term vision and pragmatic actions on a day-to-day basis. You are keen on moving the total talent management practices to a next level by improving processes, analysis and using data. And by doing that you make a difference in supporting NN in being known for talented people and the change we are making.
What are you going to do?
- Together with the other Talent Managers, you are the owner of the NN Group Talent Management framework and process and you ensure the coordination there of with the other Human Capital Development processes at NN Group, such as Performance Management, D&I and Leadership Development and traineeship
- You will set and live the TM vision and drive the current practices forward by further improving them (such as digitalisation of core Talent Management processes), also by closely following developments internally and in the market and anticipate on future industry trends and organisation needs
- In close cooperation, you equip and guide the HR Business Partners to implement the Talent Management practices across the organisation, i.e. annual team review, (functional) succession planning
- You have regular interaction and meaningful conversations with colleagues within your account (either NN Netherlands, International or Group Support Functions), talents and managers
- With the team you take care of extensive data analysis and use data points to provide meaningful insights and reports that help the business with succession planning and drive Talent Management even further
What you will bring
- You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, master’s degree preferred. And you have excellent social and communication skills in English, preferably also in Dutch
- >5 years’ experience in designing and delivering on Talent Management as specialist, consultant and/or as part of other HR function or people manager
- You possess strong project- and stakeholder management skills and are able to work with different seniority levels, you are at ease with providing respectful feedback to all stakeholders and are open to receive feedback
- You have advanced conceptual and analytical capacities and affinity with working with data and reporting. You bring a helicopter view and a listening ear, yet you are clear and firm about direction and what is and isn’t possible
- You are hands-on, structured, and result oriented. You are persuasive, decisive and quick on your feet

Within HR, the Human Capital Development (HCD) team is responsible for guiding and fostering our people. Together with all the experts, we set the framework and offer guidance and tools for the whole of NN: on Talent Management, Performance Management, Leadership Development, Learning, Traineeship and Diversity & Inclusion.
The Talent Management team is a team of 3 Talent Managers. The Talent Managers report to the Head of HCD. From NN Group's HR department, we facilitate all our colleagues (inter)nationally to achieve the best possible performing teams. We work closely together with the different stakeholder like HR Directors, champions, HR Business Partners, managers, external partners and our internal talent base.
