NN Life & Pensions (L&P) is rapidly simplifying and modernizing its IT architecture with the goal to service our customers and internal organization with state-of-the-art and cost-effective IT. We seek a highly skilled and enthusiastic technology domain architect. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of, and experience with middleware and cloud technology. Just as important is the ability to cooperate with colleagues, both within L&P as well as in the broader NN context, to define and implement the best solutions.

Wat je gaat doen

You will be responsible for the L&P technology roadmap and the relation of this roadmap to the overall NN technology roadmap. Based on the tools and technologies available, you advise (project) management, product owners etc. on when to use which technology and how to make effective use of the technologies available.

In doing so, you collaborate with the domain architects within the business lines of L&P, with Group IT architects for specific technical domains and peers in other NN Business units. Within the central L&P CIO architecture team you work closely with the L&P enterprise architect as well as with the L&P architecture manager. You participate in the L&P architecture community and the overall NN architecture guild.

Salary between €5.597 and €9.530, based on 36 hours, depending on your knowledge and experience

What you will bring

You’re a team player and service-minded and enjoy interacting with other professionals, with excellent stakeholder management, in- and outside of the team. You have a proven ability to work cross-functionally to achieve goals and objectives and you have an analytical mind and love to keep up with IT developments in the market. Additionally, you preferably possess:

10+ years of experience IT technology, more specifically with middleware and cloud implementation
Experience in a (Domain) Architect role in proven track record in which you have shown the capability to change and improve the IT-landscape
Good Dutch communication and presentation skills and you are organizational sensitive
Knowledge of architecture frameworks
A creative solution and customer centric oriented attitude
The ability to translate your ideas into architecture artifacts

Met wie je werkt

In the small overall L&P architecture team we work in an informal way with a strong emphasis on professionality. Direct colleagues are the L&P enterprise architect and L&P manager IT architecture (who reports to the L&P CIO) whom you will both, of course, get to know as part of the hiring process as it is essential that we work as a team. We meet regularly in one of the NN offices but also work a lot from home as our diverse stakeholders are dispersed over several NN locations.
